Treadmill at the Y.  Again just a steady run at a mild pace, nothing to fancy.  I'm hoping to get outside tomorrow with Leslie.  The temps were perfect this morning.  A fall chill is in the air.

Ran outside today with Leslie.  The weather felt great.  We ran 6 miles and then I ran 2 miles on the treadmill-- trying to get a little speed work in. 

 

6 miles 47 minutes, 2 miles 14:28, last 800 ran in 3:05.

Mckay got sick last night and ruined my morning running plans.  I was going to coach at the Y today and because I missed yesterday was hoping for 7 or 8.  Instead I got 5 miserable miles on my treadmill at home.  

Maybe tomorrow I will get a good run in!!!

Long Run with Jason.  We ran a bit faster today and it felt great.  The weather was perfect and it was a great morning to be out running.

Ran with Jason today.  We went later in the day and my stomach was a little upset from lunch.  So we ran a very slow 4 miles but, we got it done.

Today I wasn't wanting to run but, did speed work to get myself motivated.  It worked and it ended up being a good run.  

first two miles warm up 7:45 pace, next three miles in 20:45-- 5 miles in total time 36:15, miles 6 at a 6:30--  6 miles in 42:45,  the last mile I ran slow for a 400 then sprinted for a 400--  rounding out the total run time 51 minutes.

Ran with Leslie this morning.  My legs have been a little sore and I was a little tired but, about a mile into the run I started to get into a groove.  Runs with Leslie always end up being longer than I expect but, a lot of fun.

Ran with Jason this morning.  His legs were a little sore because he went on a long run at about 9 Pm last night.  So our run this morning was a little slow but, we got it in.  I felt great today (probably because we were running slower) and the weather was perfect,

Ran with Holley and Carrie from the Y.  It was a nice casual run.  I have been battling a cold this week and my chest is so tight.  It has been nice to run a little slower.   I didn't get an official time from Holley.

Chest is still really tight.  I wasn't going to run today but, had to go to the YMCA to pick up some papers and decided while I'm there I might as well run.  I wanted to take it easy today but, of course when I get on the treadmill and I have other runners near me my competitiveness kicks in.  I still ran relaxed but, pushed it a little more than I should have.

Today was  a great day for running the company and weather were perfect.  I ran with the girls from the YMCA.  We had a new runner today named Sarah.  I ran with her for about 2.5 miles then she turned back.  It was fun getting to know her and with a little time she is going to be a great runner.  Than Leslie and I finished our 8 miles route. 

8.1 miles in 63 minutes.   I than ran a 8:30 cool down mile on the treadmill.

Ran with Jason this morning.  I like the fact that I never signed up for a marathon because I wanted to have free Saturday mornings with no long runs but, I've been running all Jason's long runs to help him.  He owes me big time.  

Anyways, 16 miles 8:00-8:30 pace.  Jason has really been struggling on these long runs to push the pace because he isn't getting the miles in during the week with school.   Hopefully we can push it one of these Saturday's and get back to a faster pace for long runs.

Wow I just realized that I'm racking up the miles on my new shoes.  It's almost time for new ones.  Anyway ran at the Y on the treadmill today.  I ran a pretty easy pace for four miles then pushed it up a bit ran around 1 7:30 pace for the last three.

Met up with Marissa at the Y to run outside.  She only wanted to run 4 so I ran with her than jumped on the treadmill for a fast 3 miles.  I don't know the time for the 4 but, ran the 3 in 20:45.   Not too bad I need to push it a little harder the first mile.  I could only muster a 7:30-7:45 mile and then my competitiveness kicks in for the last two.  I just have to force myself to push it that first mile.  

 I then ran a slow .5 to cool down.

Ran with Leslie and carrie for almost 7.5 then jumped on the treadmill for two more miles.  It rained today while we were running, it felt great.  

 I'm unsure on the time because I didn't wear a watch.
